When I first started working at A&F I was stoked--it's exciting to be part of company that's famous for its cool clothes and good looking store models; I found it really flattering that I was recruited to work there. Everyone knows that A&F chooses its models for the photo shoots from people that work in the stores--but it really sinks in when you're actually cast to go on a Bruce Weber Photo shoot. Flying into Amelia Island, which is this amazing little island in Florida, was beyond cool. The place is really unbelievable--awesome beaches, bright turquoise water, and the weather is perfect. On the shoot I looked around and saw all these kids from other stores, the expressions on their faces were priceless because they were all thinking the same thing as me: how did I get here? I met such cool people; the girls are so hot and friendly, and you form close bonds really fast because the photo shoots are so intimate. We all partied together, played pranks together, and stayed up all night laughing together. I wanted my trip to never end. I still keep in touch with everyone I met on the trip. We write back and forth on facebook--it's cool to have met such amazing people. This was an experience that I will remember for the rest of my life...
