In July 2009 scientists found that human body literally glows in the dark*. The in-depth study showed that our body emits a light, which is 1000 times less intense than the levels to which our naked eye is sensitive. And such phenomenon is not just restricted to humans;... virtually all-living creatures emit light. This only endorses the existence of Aura around humans & other living beings. It is almost a proof of the existence of the unseen energy that is generated by invisible Chakras in our body. This energy is responsible for the well being of our mental & physical self. It is a part of the same whole, which flows in our cosmos in different frequencies in form of vibrations or waves. It travels this universe thru zillions of light years and also surrounds celestial bodies like Galaxy’s, Stars & Planets. The Chinese refer to this energy as ‘Chi’ and the Indians as ‘Pran’. Many of us know that this ‘life force’ can be harnessed for a positive, energetic and fulfilling experience. It expands our consciousness and acts as a shield from the everyday as well as long term perils of life. It helps us realize the potential of our higher self. As an Artist I find this energy intriguing as it bypasses our optical system & connects directly to our mind. I feel it is not just interesting; it’s further more challenging to depict & paint this ‘unseen energy’ effectively and make it ‘seen’. The final impact is heartening. Paintings are for beautifying walls & paintings are also for communication since when humans use to live in caves. In the series ‘Seeing the unseen’ I have made my art meaningful & purposeful by adding the 3rd dimension of Concept to the 2 dimensional visual orchestra of Colors, Balance, Harmony, and Rhythm of lines & shape. My art here is an effort to give a direction to the viewers to achieve their goals in life without surrendering to outside disturbance or deviation.
