Infantellina Contemporary, die
erste und einzige Berliner Galerie, die 100 % italienische Kunst
präsentiert, zeigt ab 05. Dezember 2009 bis 16. Januar 2010 die
Ausstellung " 4 Your Eyes & not only " mit :Anna Albini, Matteo
Arfanotti, Yara Buyda, Cristiano Carotti, Enzo Casale, Andrea Ciresola...,
Domino, Elena Guidotti, Mauro Molle, Stefania Natta, Sara Pierotti,
Tranquilla Stradolini, Giulia Tamanini. Special Guests: Claudia
Hengevoß, Willi Bambach.
Vernissage: 05.12.09 ab 18 Uhr.
Im
Jahr 2009 hat I-C zu den unterschiedlichsten Themen künstlerische
Reflexionen präsentiert. In seiner Gesamtheit hat der
Ausstellungszyklus 2009 dabei auch vor schwierigen Themen nicht zurück
geschreckt: Reizüberflutung („Strange Things“), das Streben nach
Gerechtigkeit für Alle („A Better World“), das gewaltfreie Einreißen
von Barrieren („Stairway To Heaven“) oder auch die Mechanismen, die uns
durch den Fall der Berliner Mauer und die Globalisierung von der
Geschichte auferlegt wurden („One World“).
Das IC-Team glaubt, dass
Kunst und Künstler sowohl die große Verantwortung als auch die
Fähigkeit haben, die Welt ohne Gewalt zu verbessern. Dies ist unsere
Überzeugung und wir vermitteln unseren Anspruch durch Kunstwerke,
welche die Öffentlichkeit zur Entdeckung entscheidender Wahrheiten
führen können.
Um der Komplexität menschlicher Existenz angemessen
Rechnung zu tragen, möchten wir 2009 mit einer Feier der Ästhetik
beschließen und durch diese Ausstellung der Leichtigkeit, der Freude
und dem Licht Raum gewähren - “4 your eyes & not only”: Eine Ode an
die Schönheit.
Da wir um die Benachteiligung vieler Menschen auf
dieser Welt wissen, wird I-C – wie jedes Jahr – einen Teil der Gewinne
dieser Dezember-Ausstellung für wohltätige Zwecke spenden (dieses Jahr:
Amnesty International). Um unser Engagement zu unterstützen, haben Sie
hierfür die Möglichkeit, ein Kunstwerk (oder mehrere) aus den insgesamt
über 600 verfügbaren der gesamten I-C-Kollektion aus zu wählen.

Beginning

Contemporary, the first one and only Berlin gallery featuring 100%
Italian art, will present the exhibition " 4 Your Eyes & not Only "

Vernissage starts on 5th of december 2009 at 6 p.m.
In
2009 I-C presented artistic reflexions on various subjects including
difficult ones like the ever-growing flood of allurements („Strange
Things“), justice for all („A Better World“), tearing down barriers
without violence („Stairway To Heaven“) and the mechanisms of
globalisation after the fall of the Berlin Wall („One World“).
The
team at I-C believes that arts and artists have the great
responsibility – and ability – to improve our world without violence.
This is our conviction which we try to translate into exhibitions that
lead the public to recognize this important truth.
To take human
complexity into account appropriately we will close 2009 with the
exhibition „4 Your Eyes And Not Only“ - and we would like to welcome
you on our sensual travel through light, happiness and beauty.
As we
are well aware of the fact of disadvantaged people all over the world –
as in every december-exhibition – we dedicate a part of our profit
coming from this event to charity (this year: Amnesty Intern´l). To
support our social activities you'll have the possibility to choose one
artwork (ore more) from 600+ artworks (the complete collection of I-C).

Quest'anno
I-C, con i temi delle proprie mostre, ha fornito spunti di riflessione
ed espressione sia ai propri artisti che al proprio pubblico.
Insieme
abbiamo affrontato tematiche difficili e spinose: il miglioramento del
ns mondo sia morale che materiale con una maggiore cura sia per
l'ambiente che nella mentalità;l' invito all'abbattimento dei
muri,morali,materiali,psicologici,razzis
religiosi.filosofici e
classisti; l'auspicio ad interrogarsi non solo sui grandi quesiti
dell'esistenza bensì anche di quelli terreni e quotidiani.
Il team
di I-C è convinto che l'arte e gli artisti abbiano la grande
responsabilità e capacità di migliorare il mondo, senza violenza;
questo parere ci ha permesso di condurre, attraverso le opere, il
pubblico alla scoperta delle realtà evidenti sviluppando un confronto
positivo e dialoghi multidirezionali.
Per l'ultimo evento di questo
2009, si è scelto di chiudere con la celebrazione simbolica
dell'estetica pur non dimenticando che dietro un'opera che appare
leggera si nascondono pieghe impregnate di significati intrinsechi od
attribuiti. Un'evento che anticipa delicatamente
un'evento del
2010 che darà vero e proprio omaggio alla bellezza. Come d'abitudine
per I-C, parte degli utili di dicembre verranno devoluti in beneficenza
(Amnesty International), oltre 600 opere verranno messe a disposizione
dei collezionisti (lßintera colleyione della I-C) .

11.09.2009 -23.10-2009 Stairway to heaven In few decades mankind has made exponential progress regarding acquaintances and physical, technological, medical apparatuses. In the last 4000 years there have been many moments of enlightenment in the philosophical thinking and, if we w...ant to say, moral too. Twenty years after the fall of the wall in Berlin all, artists comprised, once again realize how barbarism still is part of the life of the most: how many divisions, how many injustices, how many wars, how many dead people. All this has a sense? And does it represent the wish of the habitants of the earth that need to touch a presumed paradise with their fingers? The artists have the talent to pick and represent what is hidden or what seems to be gathered in light and dark parts of the world. A world where thousands of innocent men were killed for religious reasons. A world where ferocity is justified with the name of civilization or the preservation of certain equilibriums. One and the other sacrifices strangers or even own members, but as Brecht said: “Under the defeated the poor are starving from hunger and under the victors the poor are starving too” (Free translation of: Bertold Brecht: “Auf der Mauer”). The artists through their own works ask the question: “Will we never succeed attempting to respect others and therefore receiving respect again”? Does a formula exist that can free us all from the slavery of the syndrome of Cain (from which we all are more or less affected) and that allows us to reach a strongly yearned paradise, nirvana or… ? The artists and Art itself have the great responsibility to open the minds and thus changing the world without violence. P.S.: We don’t promote any specific political opinion and are open to people that like to represent a certain item.

"Stairway to Heaven" Kollektivausstellung
11.09.2009 -23.10-2009 Stairway to heaven Die Menschheit hat in der Entwicklung von Physik, Technik und Medizin in den letzten Dekaden exponentielle Fortschritte erzielt. In den letzten 4000 Jahren gab es ebenfalls viele Momente philosophischer und vielleicht auch moralischer Erkenntnis und Erleuchtung. Zwanzig Jahre nach dem Fall der Berliner Mauer stellen wir alle, Künstler eingeschlossen, fest, wie barbarisches Verhalten nach wie vor Teil des Lebens der meisten ist: Wie viel Ungerechtigkeit, wie viele Kriege, wie viele Tote. Hat dies alles einen Sinn? Und repräsentiert dieser Zustand den Wunsch der Erdbewohner, welche sich wünschen das ersehnte Paradies mit ihren Fingern berühren zu können? Die Künstler haben das Talent, das Versteckte sichtbar zu machen. Eine Welt in der tausende aus religiösen Gründen umgebracht wurden. Eine Welt in der Gewalt gerechtfertigt wird im Namen der Zivilisation oder mit der Notwendigkeit des Erhalts von bestimmten Gleichgewichten. Nicht nur Fremde werden geopfert sondern auch Mitglieder der eigenen Gruppe und wir denken an Brecht der sagte: „Bei den Besiegten das nied’re Volk hungerte. Bei den Siegern hungerte das nied’re Volk auch.“ (aus: Bertold Brecht: Auf der Mauer” ). Mittels ihrer Werke stellen die Künstler die Frage: ”Werden wir es nie schaffen, andere zu respektieren und selbst respektiert zu werden?“ Gibt es eine Formel die uns vom Kain-Syndrom (welches uns alle mehr oder weniger betrifft) befreit und welche uns erlaubt, das gewünschte Paradies auf Erden, das Nirwana zu erreichen? Die Künstler und die Kunst selbst haben die große Verantwortung die Sicht der Menschen auf die Welt zu erweitern und dadurch die Welt ohne Gewalt zu verändern. P.S.: Wir fühlen uns keiner bestimmten politischen Richtung verpflichtet und sind offen gegenüber dem Wunsch von Personen,welche ein bestimmtes Thema präsentieren möchten.

"Stairway to Heaven"
11.09.2009 -23.10-2009 Stairway to heaven L’umanità, in pochi decenni, ha fatto progressi esponenziali per ciò che concerne conoscenze ed apparati fisici, tecnologici, medici. Negli ultimi 4000 anni tanti sono stati momenti di corrispettivo fulgore nel campo filosofico e, se vogliamo concedercelo, morale. Nel ventennale della caduta del muro e nell’anniversario della strage delle Twin Towers, tutti , artisti compresi, ancora una volta, abbiamo lo spunto per riflettere su quanta barbarie faccia ancora parte della vita dei più: quante divisioni, quante ingiustizie, quante guerre e battaglie e faide, quante morti. Viene naturale interrograsi se ciò abbia un senso, nel nostro tempo, con il nostro vissuto collettivo. E quanto avviene rappresenta il volere degli abitanti della terra che ambiscono toccare con le proprie dita un presunto paradiso? Gli artisti hanno la predisposizione nel cogliere, percepire e rappresentare quanto si annida sia nelle pieghe luccicanti che in quelle oscure della realtà, anche in quella parte dove, non per finzione, migliaia di uomini e donne innocenti vengono soppressi e/o oppressi con le più svariate motivazioni che siano esse di natura religiosa o politica, motivazioni che vorrebbero essere giustificate dall’ambizione di essere strumenti di civilizzazione e mantenimento degli equilibri. Qualunque sia il fine, gli uni e gli altri sacrificano i propri membri o cittadini ma, come diceva Bertold Brecht (nel suo “Auf der Mauer…”): - I perdenti si trovano tra i vinti ed anche tra i vincitori- Gli artisti si interrogano, attraverso le proprie opere, se sia possibile, per l’umanità intera, riuscire nell’intento di rispettare gli altri ricevendo di contro nient’altro che pacifico rispetto. Esiste la formula che possa liberarci dalla schiavitù della sindrome di Caino (da cui anche i puri possono essere affetti) che ci permetta di raggiungere il tanto anelato “Paradiso” o “Nirvana”? Gli artisti e l’Arte hanno la grande responsabilità, soprattutto in questo momento storico, di aprire le menti e cambiare il mondo, senza violenza.
