hehe. The remaining % are stars you haven't achived yet. You can view your stars from the main menu, just click 'View' below the profile name.

Well, I wasn't going to follow the poll blindly. But it is winning by a large margin, so I will respect that decision. Multiplayer is now officially in the plans.

The editor, while easy to use, is still confusing in some ways. To remove boost-arrows, select that part of the track and click boost again.

Oh, and deleting autosave.* in the tracks folder may do it also.

you need to make them with only a couple of seconds between them, so you need a series of five successive backflips to get 5 stars

Yep, try jumping even further. Forget about landing in the sink, land on the ramp. It's hard, but lean backwards before the jump to get friction and speed, then lean forward in air to catch the ramp with the front wheel. That little trick saves you a second at least.
