Please join us on Saturday morning, October 3 to explore the museum on a private interactive tour by a leading docents, before it opens to the public!
Breakfast follows the tour, along with arts and crafts.
This is one of the Dalí Museum’s most popular and rewarding programs which is available once a month.
Must register & pre-pay to attend. This is a great value!
Salvador Dali Museum
Awards Party honoring Dalí’s birthday, with winners announced in both Look-Alike categories. Free and open to the public (donations accepted). Cash Bar. Saturday, May 9 - 9pm to midnight
This year, Double Takes is a contest encouraging people to create a vision of who they think Salvador Dalí is – we want them to think,... create, behave and/or look like Dalí.
The Look-Alike Contest is not celebrity impersonation: our contestants, both male and female, are encouraged to express and define how they or their work embodies the spirit of Dalí.
Contestants may enter by submitting one-minute videos within that theme, or by appearing in person to model their interpretive Dalí costume.
Our two-day event opens with an art party and screening of video entries in Ybor City on May 8, and concludes with an awards ceremony and celebration honoring Dalí’s birthday at the museum on May 9.
